Eversendai secures new jobs worth RM406 million to usher in 2019

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corp Bhd has secured new contracts worth RM406 million through its group companies in Singapore, India and Qatar.

The contracts include a hi-tech data processing and computing facility project in Singapore, a state-of-the-art secretariat building which features two 45-storey towers in India and grating support structures works for an arch along the Lusail Expressway in Qatar.

Eversendai executive chairman and group managing director Tan Sri A K Nathan recognised that the business environment had to be managed according to current trends and global economic cycles.

“With foresight, Eversendai was able to mitigate the challenges via its knowledge and experience gained dealing in the markets it operates in. Credit goes to our prudent and tireless management staff, bankers and clients for their continuous hard work and support.

“Our strict adherence to safety, quality and timely completions of entrusted projects have greatly contributed to our progressive growth. We will focus to develop the business without compromising our basic philosophy and fundamental values”, he said.

The company’s core business tender book stands at RM10 billion with about RM2.5 billion order book to keep it busy going forward.
