KUALA LUMPUR: The US-based Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported worldwide sales of semiconductors fell by 15.5% to US$33.4bil in July 2019 from a year ago.

It said on Wednesday the global sales were however higher by 1.7% from June 2019’s US$32.8bil, according to monthly sales compiled by the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) organisation.
