MNC Wireless appoints Ananda Krishnan’s nephew as director

KUALA LUMPUR: MNC Wireless Bhd has appointed Robbie Krishnan as its executive non-independent non-executive director, effective September 21, 2019.

He is the nephew of business tycoon Ananda Krishnan.

Presently, Robbie is Astro Measat Broadcast Network System Sdn Bhd executive producer and is focused on content and branded development.

He is co-founder of Komik Kon Malaysia, an educational corporation to create awareness of and appreciation for comics and related art forms.

Robbie has over 15 years of international business development, management and production experience.

He started his career in Los Angeles, where he worked in various roles with HydroFlex, Panavision, ArriFlex and RuddyMorgan Productions.

Subsequently, Robbie moved to Asia and worked with the BBC on feature film “The Intended”.

Apart from various local and international productions, he also worked on the award winning “The Laya Project”, a documentary about the 2004 Tsunami which notably was aired on the Discovery Channel.

He has managed multimillion dollar productions with global teams.

He founded AMC Motors Inc (Asia) Sdn Bhd, a company dedicated to tap into the niche potential of the classic car related businesses.
