Trading ideas: DNeX, BCorp, TNB, Yinson

KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Monday include Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX), Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp), Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and Yinson Holdings Bhd, according to JF Apex Research.

DNeX’s unit OGPC Sdn Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM14mil from Petronas Dagangan Bhd for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of outdoor payment terminals for Petronas stations for a period of one year.

BCorp is selling its trust beneficial interest on the hotel component of the Four Seasons Hotel & Hotel Residences Kyoto, Japan for 49 billion yen (RM1.87bil) cash.

TNB, which turned to a profit of RM653.3mil in 4QFY19, has declared a final dividend of 20 sen per share and a special dividend of 50 sen per share.

Yinson has finally reached an agreement with the lenders of Singapore-listed Ezion Holdings Ltd (EHL), as Yinson will end up owning a controlling 63.4% stake in EHL.

JF Apex noted that DRB-HICOM, MAHB, SOP, Integrated Logistics, Heitech padu, MBSB, Paramount, FGV Holdings posted higher year-on-year quarterly profits.

On the other hand TAN CHONG MOTOR, Ttitijaya, Muhibbah Engineering, IHH, Alliance Bank, CIMB, Destini, Sime Darby Plantations recorded lower year-on-year quarterly results.

Meanwhile, US markets plunged further on Friday following rising concerns over the coronavirus outbreak and its impact over global economy.

Similarly, European stocks plummeted as the coronavirus spreads further.

“Following the latest political development, the FBM KLCI will remain volatile with support at 1,450 points,” JF Apex said.
