BNP Paribas Malaysia appoints Anthony Lo as CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: BNP Paribas Malaysia Bhd has appointed Anthony Lo as its new CEO, effective Oct 1, 2019.

He takes over from Philippe Aroyo and will report to Joris Dierckx, head of corporate and institutional banking for South Asia.

“With Anthony’s extensive experience and understanding of the local market and client needs, I am confident that he will continue to develop our platform, client portfolio and people in Malaysia, and position our franchise strongly for future growth,” said Dierckx.

In his previous role, Lo was the managing director and head of investment banking coverage for BNP Paribas in Malaysia.

Prior to joining the company, he was executive director at ING Corporate Advisotry Malaysia Sdn Bhd and also worked at Arthur Andersen.
