Sept 24: Bursa Malaysia opens lower

KUALA LUMPUR: Share prices on Bursa Malaysia opened lower today, in line with most regional bourses.

At 9.05am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI was marginally lower by 0.28 of a point at 1,810.36 from last Friday’s close of 1,810.64, after opening 1.41 points lower.

However, on the broader market, gainers led losers 136 to 63, with 170 unchanged, 1,531 untraded and 23 others suspended.

Volume stood at 78.13 million units valued at RM38.58 million.
