PDZ Holdings disposes vessel for US$1.53m

KUALA LUMPUR: PDZ Holdings Bhd has disposed of its vessel, PDZ Mewah, as part of its long-term vessel replacement programme for US$1.53 million (US$1=RM4.17) to Somap International Pte Ltd.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, PDZ said that the sale was completed following the company’s receipt of the sealed order from the Kuala Lumpur High Court granting leave for the sale of PDZ Mewah to Somap.

“However, in view of the writ, such sale proceeds have been retained by the Sheriff of the Malaysian High Court, pending disposal of the writ,” it said.
