Tenaga Nasional wins ‘Ad of the Year’ at YouTube Malaysia Ad Awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) was the biggest winner at the third annual YouTube Malaysia Ad Awards last Friday, bringing home the “Ad of the Year” award for its entry “Rumah Epik Fantastik” which also won the award for Top Ad in the Long-form in Storytelling category.

The 2018 Hari Raya short captured the relatable atmosphere of a kampung house during ‘balik kampung’ season, complete with a car-filled courtyard and little cousins running amok. The four minute and seven second spot charmed judges and viewers alike, who watched the advertisement all the way through – a testament to the engaging digital storytelling.
