Malaysians in Pakistan told to call mission
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians stranded in Pakistan should contact the Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad as soon as possible.
In an announcement on its Facebook page, the high commission asked those stranded to call the officer on duty at +92 3000 808 549.
“This is to update the high commission’s record on the presence of Malaysian citizens in Pakistan as well as for providing consular services if needed,” it said.
Among the information required are their address in Pakistan and Malaysia, name and phone number of next of kin, and details of their postponed flight.
Pakistani air space was closed for the second day yesterday as tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi rose following military actions by the two countries. — Bernama
