Stay updated about water disruptions with the Air Selangor app

Worried about the scheduled 86-hour water cut starting tomorrow (April 23) in the Klang Valley? Wish there was a way to stay instantly updated about water-related incidents in your area?

Air Selangor has an app that will inform users about scheduled or unscheduled water disruptions with details like estimated finish time, list of affected areas and reason for the disruption. Users can also get updates on completed repair works.

There is an Info tab in the app for users to interact with Airra, a chat feature. For now, there are options for users to provide feedback, rate the app, check out the Frequently Asked Questions sections and call customer support.

Available on the Google Play store and Apple App store, the app even has a notification feature for users to receive reminders about water disruption and other relevant announcements.

Users can also download a PDF copy of the list based on this link provided by an administrator on the Facebook page.

Still unsure if your area is affected? A user who goes by the Twitter handle MambangStory has created a detailed map on Google that claims to pinpoint the areas that will be affected by the water disruption happening tomorrow.

There are red and blue markers on the map to indicate the estimated end date for the water cuts. The user shared in a series of tweets that the map is based on a list provided by Air Selangor.

Alternatively, users can also check out Air Selangor Twitter account for more information.

The Star previously reported that over 600,000 households in 577 areas will be affected by a water supply disruption due to the critical repair works at the Selangor River Phase 2 Water Treatment Plant (LRA SSP2).
