Buy KFC online and skip the queues

Online shopping just got finger lickin’ better following a collaboration between fried chicken franchise KFC and online marketplace Lazada Malaysia which puts fried chicken on the online menu.

The new KFC Flagship Store on LazMall sells Self Collect e-vouchers, which users can utilise on the KFC app or KFC website when placing an order.

Customers then need to choose their preferred store, date and time for self-collection. Although customers have to physically go to the store, ordering online allows them to cut the queue.

In the spirit of Ramadan, a new item will be offered as part of a special deal every day until June 23. These promos are redeemable at 108 KFC outlets nationwide.

Lazada Malaysia chief marketing officer Diana Boo said Lazada is expanding its list of products and services to include food and beverage, as brands are looking for ways to engage with consumers outside traditional shopping parameters.

“As the first restaurant chain on Lazada, KFC’s Self Collect deals offer Malaysians a convenient and affordable solution as they gather with family and friends this Ramadan, wherever they may be,” she said in a press release.

KFC Malaysia chief marketing officer Angelina Villanueva said the partnership is meant to make KFC accessible through more channels.

“KFC Self Collect is our latest feature on our KFC app and website to further complement our dine-in and delivery service. The integration of technology allows us to offer customers more ways to access KFC,” she added.
