Students from five more Pasir Gudang schools experiencing breathing difficulties

PASIR GUDANG: Students from five more schools here have been experiencing symptoms believed to be linked to toxic pollution.

Ambulances were seen rushing to SMK Tanjung Puteri Resort, SMK Pasir Putih, SK Taman Pasir Putih, SMK Megah Ria and SK Pasir Gudang 2 since about 10am Monday (June 24).

At press time, the number of students experiencing symptoms, including nausea, vomiting and breathing difficulties, has gone up to 45 and is expected to increase.

It is learnt that the students were sent to the operation centre at Pasir Gudang Indoor Stadium and Sultan Ismail Hospital for medical attention.
