Quick take: Prestariang actively traded after contract win

KUALA LUMPUR: Prestariang Bhd’s share price rose as much as 4.4% in active trade this morning after the company secured a RM22.94mil contract.

The counter added 3.3%, or 1.5 sen to 47 sen. It is one of the most actively traded counters with over 23.32 million shares traded.

Prestariang has secured a RM22.94mil contract from the Ministry of Finance.

The contract, which was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd, is to supply Microsoft software licenses, products and services under the Master Licensing Agreement 3.0 (MLA 3.0) to the Ministry of Education (MOE) for a period of one year.

The contract will be managed through the Education Alliance Agreement (EAA) to all schools until March 9 next year at RM11.23mil.

The contract is also managed via Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) to all agencies under the education ministry, until July 2, 2020, at RM11.72mil.
