Startup aiming to become auto super app

AUTOMOTIVE tech company SERV has recently concluded a number of partnerships to expand its app features to cover all essential needs of owning a car.

Their recent tie-ups include e-wallet provider Boost, on-demand car battery delivery Bateriku.com, car service and repair chain Autohaus KL, safe drivers community DriveMark and parking payment platform JomParking. This will help users access services related to their car’s needs through a single app.

Users will be able to upload their information such as ownership, date of last car maintenance, mileage, battery change, road tax and insurance. They will also be able to book for a car service based on a preferred time and location.

The company says that the app allows for transparent pricing, which will help users generate quotes offered by SERV partners and prevent fraud.

Other services available on the app include request for battery change, road tax renewal, insurance purchase, parking payment and roadside assistance in the case of a fender bender or mishap along the road.

Founded in 2017, SERV initially started as a mobile car service provider. It now aims to be the next super app by 2020, connecting industry players in automotive on one platform. — Bernama
