Selangor upbeat on investments

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor government is optimistic of recording higher investments this year.

State investment, industry and commerce, and small and medium enterprises committee chairman Datuk Teng Chang Khim said the confidence was based on the performance achieved in the first six months of this year which amounted to RM5.97bil.

“They were 132 approved manufacturing projects. For the whole of last year, a total of 241 manufacturing projects were approved in Selangor with investments worth RM18.95bil, ” he said. — Bernama
