Total of 20.5 million Top Glove shares crossed at RM5.38 each

KUALA LUMPUR (March 4): A total of 20.5 million shares in Top Glove Corp Bhd were crossed at RM5.38 each on Tuesday (March 3), Bloomberg reported.

Bloomberg, citing data it compiled, reported that the shares in the rubber glove manufacturer were transacted in three blocks.

“Shares were offered at 5.6% discount to closing price (of RM5.70 on Tuesday). Offering represents 0.8% of existing share capital,” it said.

Bloomberg did not say who the buyer and seller of the Top Glove shares were.

At RM5.38, the transaction values Top Glove at RM13.77 billion based on the company’s issued base of 2.56 billion shares.

At Bursa Malaysia today, Top Glove’s share price fell one sen or 0.18% to RM5.69 at 10:48am. The stock cut losses after falling to its lowest so far today at RM5.61.
