Own a Mah Sing home payment-free for up to four years

Mah Sing Group Berhad is offering homebuyers the opportunity to own a home payment-free for up to four years.

Founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said that owning a home is an aspiration for many Malaysians, but financial difficulties and constraints in getting the appropriate financings have been major hurdles and these have heightened especially during the current challenging period following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Leong said taking all this into account Mah Sing has launched the ‘HOME With Mah Sing’ campaign, which will run until March 29, 2021.

Under this campaign, Mah Sing is offering various incentives and savings, aimed at growing homeownership.

The incentives include low booking fees starting from RM500, free duty, legal fees, and the campaign revolve around the existing Maybank Islamic financing solution HouzKEY, as well as Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2021, Mah Sing said in a statement.

Homebuyers will also benefit from the units they select under participating Mah Sing projects in the Klang Valley, Johor, and Penang.

In the Klang Valley, the projects offered under this campaign are M Oscar, M Centura, M Arisa, M Adora, M Luna, M Vertica, M Aruna, Sensory Residence @ Southville City, and Cerrado Residential Suites @ Southville City.

In Johor, the projects included Hazel @ Meridin East, Orchid @ Meridin East, Acacia @ Meridin East, Meridin Bayvue Serviced Apartments, Ixora Park City @ Meridin East, Meridin Medini 1 & 2 Retail, and iParc, while in Penang, there is Ferringhi Residence 2.

“Buyers have the option of choosing a sales package which offers a payment-free period of up to four years,” he said, adding that the exact payment-free tenure will differ for each participating project.

Leong said depending on the project, the payment-free period comes into play during construction.

“All in all, we are optimistic about 2021 and hope that through this campaign, our customers will be able to take that step towards homeownership this year,” he said.

Mah Sing chief executive officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang hoped the introduction of this campaign will help to ease the issues for potential homebuyers to own a home, especially for first-time purchasers.

“A home is many things to many people. For some, it is a refuge from the chaos of life. To others, it is a place to nurture and grow. No matter the person and the reason, there is something we can all agree on, that a home is the bedrock and foundation of a meaningful and rewarding life.

“In fact, in today’s new normal, where social distancing and work-from-home practices are de rigueur, a home has become an even more integral part of people’s lives,” he said.

Ho said the best investment moving forward is, as and will always be a home.
