New business hub with GDV of RM2.4bil for Bandar Rimbayu

IJM Land Bhd will unveil its next development in Bandar Rimbayu known as NADI, a brand new business hub with a gross development value of RM2.4 billion.

NADI comprises a 221.59-acre commercial park and a 41.10-acre industrial park, says Bandar Rimbayu senior general manager, Chai Kian Soon.

Chai said in line with IJM Land’s commitment to sustainability, NADI prioritises the operation of non-polluting, light, and medium industrial tenants for its industrial park.

He said NADI is seeking to attract more clean industrial sub-sectors such as logistics, warehouses, life science, 3S/4S service centres, manufacturing, and technology.

NADI is also seeking to drive more opportunities and collaborations with established and sustainable industry players in cultivating an eco-friendly industrial park, he said.

“Bandar Rimbayu’s robust township development and growing population along with increasing purchasing power will drive the business potential. During these economically challenging times, the development and growth of the commercial and industrial segments of NADI will create job opportunities for the surrounding communities,” he said.

Chai said the housing components will complement the incoming workforce by providing accommodation to the industrial and commercial workers.

He further said that NADI will double as a bustling central meeting point and a gateway for trade among the community.

“We have always envisioned Bandar Rimbayu as a one-stop and self-sustaining township for all of our residents, and we are working tirelessly to realise that goal every day. With the exciting addition of NADI, it will be a well-known business hub offering a variety of business activities,” he said.

IJM Land has transformed Bandar Rimbayu into one of the most sought-after addresses in the southwest of the Klang Valley.

The developer has spent years building up the community and turning it into a sustainable world-class township

With a gross development value in excess of RM11 billion, Bandar Rimbayu will be an integrated township with residential, commercial, and recreational components spread over four precincts: Flora, Fauna, Bayu, and the Commercial Hub.

Besides offering homes for today’s generation, Bandar Rimbayu has catered to the rise in demand for quality education with the set up of Oasis International School, and The Club, a resident clubhouse featuring first-class facilities.

Chai said Bandar Rimbayu’s proximity to commercial and residential hotspots of Shah Alam and Kota Kemuning has transformed the region into a high catchment area.

“This growth is also catalysed by extensive road networks connecting the areas. Harnessing the potential of its strategic location and connectivity, NADI will become a highly strategic hub where nearby residents, visitors, and business communities can converge and carry out daily work or leisure activities,” Chai said.

Chai said the accessibility and connectivity solidify NADI as an up-and-coming-industrial gateway.

NADI is located 28km from the country’s main gateway by sea, Port Klang, 32km from Subang Airport, and 35km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and klia2.

As for the commercial component, NADI aims to attract residential communities and visitors from within Bandar Rimbayu and neighboring hotspots by capitalising on the seamless connectivity of nearby expressways.

From the township, communities are in close proximity to entry and exit points of Lebuhraya Shah Alam, Lebuhraya Kemuning – Shah Alam, Expressway Lingkaran Tengah, the South Klang Valley Expressway, and the West Coast Expressway, which will be completed in 2024.
