Employers advised not to drop off workers too early for vaccination appointment to avoid crowding

KUALA LUMPUR: Employers have been told to refrain from dropping off their foreign workers too early before their set vaccination appointments at the KLCC Covid-19 Vaccination Centre (PPV).

Those who had done so today had caused overcrowding at the KLCC PPV earlier today which saw a snaking queue of hundreds of vaccine recipients at the entrance as well as along the main road pavements.

Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said employers should follow the scheduled time for their worker’s appointments.

“We ask employers not to send their foreign workers too early to the KLCC PPV to avoid overcrowding.

“There will be many foreign workers from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Negri Sembilan who will be sent there to receive their inoculation at the KLCC PPV.

“Please stick to the appointment time,” he said.
